    That lady was very wise! I love candlelight :) Cursing the darkness lets off steam as long as I'm cursing a chair I fell over :)

    Here is my favorite Eleanor Roosevelt Quote: "You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do."

    Another one of hers I really like- just because it does *not* sound like the sort of thing a distinguished elderly lady would say- is: "Do what you feel in your heart to be right - for you'll be criticized anyway. You'll be damned if you do, and damned if you don't."
